SD SG (short for "Super Deformed Shattered Glass") is a series of comic strips by Josh Perez, running in the Hasbro Transformers Collector's Club magazine from issues #65 to #71. It features characters from the Shattered Glass stories in short, comical adventures.
Issues
SD SG #1
- Optimus Prime is outraged! He can't believe that, in the latest installment of the Club comic, he's been turned into the good Nova Prime! He protests that the writers would never turn an evil Megatron into a good guy! Goldbug (who's confused as to how all three of them wound up back on Cybertron) corrects him: such a story has actually happened. Though baffled, Optimus presses his point; he exclaims that the writers would never turn an evil Starscream good! Lockdown (who doesn't want to be around, since he's a Decepticon) corrects Optimus again; such a situation has indeed happened before. Surprised once more, Optimus exclaims that he'll keep on existing as an evil Autobot in this comic. Goldbug congratulates his boss on his idea, and Optimus thanks him... only for Lockdown to point out that saying "thank you" isn't a very evil thing to do. Optimus's bewilderment rises to new heights!

Notes
- This strip is a parody of the Q-Transformers: Mystery of Convoy Returns cartoon; all of the characters are the mirror versions of three leads from the shorts, and have a conversation similar to those Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Lockdown have in the cartoon.
SD SG #2
- Windblade approaches Strongarm to ask her what she's up to. Strongarm shows her the video game she's playing, "The Obvious Truths of Optimus Prime," an old 8-bit video game that features Ultra Magnus as the playable character. She explains that the game is not only ridiculously easy, but also features all sorts of neat features, like a password system, actual Decepticons for enemies, and a varied soundtrack. Windblade thinks Strongarm has worded her answer strangely, as though the game she's playing is the opposite of another game from another universe. Strongarm thinks Windblade is just being silly.
(Numbers indicate order of appearance.)
SD SG #3
- Hot Shot is about to berate Nautica for some thing or another, but she shushes him; she promised Metroplex an appearance in this comic, and Hot Shot will have to scoot over to give him some room. Metroplex's grinning face edges its way into the panel... and it doesn't look like there's gonna be room for him to fit no matter how much Hot Shot and Nautica squeeze together near the panel's edge!
(Numbers indicate order of appearance.)
SD SG #4
- Skywarp is peeved; Starscream had convinced him to come on an "information retreat" to Earth, but now their last fuel cell is about to run out, meaning Skywarp won't be able to finish reading his book. Sure enough, the power goes out, leaving both Decepticons in the dark. But they quickly come up with a solution: Skywarp calls over Thundercracker, who illuminates the whole room with his garish color-scheme. Realizing what his teammates are using him for, Thundercracker plans to hide all of their microscopes in retaliation.

SD SG BotCon #5
- Tarantulas and Ravage are laughing maniacally over drinks when Beetle approaches their table, and tells them they have to leave; this is the fourth outburst the establishment has had to deal with from the two of them. Ravage asks Tarantulas where they can possibly go that will allow them to laugh to their hearts' content, and Tarantulas knows just the place: a children's ball pit!

TFA SD SG #6
- Rhinox is being visited by Ratchet, who is astounded that his frequent trips into the past haven't altered the time-stream to mush. Rhinox assures him that he has measures to prevent such a thing from happening. Ratchet then hands over a cure for stasis lock and wishes his fellow doc-bot goodbye as he heads back to his own time. Afterwards, Cheetor and Rattrap thank Rhinox for his expertise, unaware that he doesn't really deserve any credit for his miracle cures. Rhinox still laps up the praise though.
(Numbers indicate order of appearance.)
TFA SDSG: "The Re-burn of Blurr"
- The bad-tempered sergeant Arcee leads her motley group of evil Autobots through the ruins of Cybertron. While she goes off to find a Hydrantacon, the tearful electric creature Kremzeek tries to regale them with the sad story of how the slow-and-steady Blurr was brought low by the heroic Shockwave, but is stymied by Sari's lack of interest, Hosehead's pyromania, Siren's inability to make himself heard, and Nightbeat's passion for hitting him with a hammer. Eventually Sari uses one of her technoorganic-enhanced boots to punt the cube-shaped Blurr away, leaving Kremzeek more upset than ever.

Notes
- This strip is a parody of "The Return of Blurr", featuring most of the same cast of characters. It was written by Derrick J. Wyatt, rather than Josh Perez, though Josh still provided the art.
