- Rodimus is noted to have changed his name from Hot Rod, in reference to his toy being unable to use that name at the time of release.
- Firebolt is referred to with his Marvel name Sparks, and is noted to have left Hot Rod. What exactly happened to him is unknown.
- Characters mentioned in Ramjet's profile include: Starscream, Shockwave, and Megatron.
