Clive Selsby Revill (born April 18, 1930) is a New Zealand actor. While he has been nominated for a Tony Award twice and a Golden Globe once, his most prominent role is the voice of the original Emperor Palpatine in The Empire Strikes Back...or it was, until he was replaced with Ian McDiarmid in the DVD release. He also provided the voice for Doctor Doom in the video game Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. (Palpatine and Doom. DAMN)
