Other Notes

• This episode is unique in that the quality of the animation is above and beyond any other season 3 episode, and arguably the entire Transformers television series. The characters move more fluidly and have a more distinct anime-style appearance. The reason for this discrepancy is that the episode was animated by a different studio than any other in the series.

Animation and/or technical glitches

• When the Dinobots are being summoned, Sludge is referred to as Sweep.

Continuity errors

• When summoning the primitives, they forgot all about Laserbeak and Buzzsaw! Instead, Soundwave unleashes two new cassette Decepticons: Slugfest and Overkill.... who are then never seen again. Gee.
