The Sentinels were a type of robot warriors used by the Decepticons during their control over Cybertron.
The Sentinels were a series of combat robots used by Shockwave on Cybertron. None of them appeared able to speak or transform, but they sure did die easily.

They appeared as bipedal domed headed machines capable of speech and made use of energy pistols. They possessed a chest screen that would open up allowing them to report to their commander. Unlike their masters, they did not possess the ability to transform. They were also in charge of leading Guards.
