With Cybertron in an energon crisis and the Decepticon menace growing each day, Zeta Prime and the Senate held a restricted security session within the Primacy Auditorium. There, Zeta announced his plan to employ vamparc ribbon weapons against all who opposed his rule. This revelation was overheard by Soundwave, a spy brought in by Senate delegate Starscream, who escaped with the information by jumping off a nearby terrace. Parasites Zeta Prime was in the Primacy Auditorium when Megatron and Orion Pax's combined forces assaulted the Citadel, and it was there he met his end in battle with Megatron. Overthrown
