Continuity Shattered Glass

Laserbeak's an asshole.

Synopsis

Ravage and Laserbeak watch the latter's postive-universe counterpart from a distance, perched on the arm of Gigatron. Laserbeak opines that his evil mirror is a total poser, and that if he were to perch on anyone, he would perch on the arms of those from outside the mainstream. Ravage points out that he use to perch on Megatron; Laserbeak claims that was back when he was a math teacher, and not the sellout "Galvatron" protecting the planet today, like all the other sheepitrons. Ravage tells him all the sheepitrons died in a bombing last week, and Laserbeak sheepishly admits that he doesn't follow the news.

(Numbers indicate order of appearance.)

Notes

Continuity notes

  • Classics Laserbeak was last seen in "Crossing Over: Part 4", where he was shot down. Looks like he's okay.
  • Megatron's original BotCon 2008 tech specs established that he was a math professor.

Transformers references

  • The meta-joke here is that Laserbeak perches on Decepticon leaders, as seen in many, many different stories.
  • Like Buzzsaw, Laserbeak looks to have been upgraded into his Masterpiece toy.
