- The Maximal Imperium is a nation from the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Maximal Imperium is the nation-state of the Maximals on Cybertron, led by the Maximal Elders Prowl, Ironhide, and Silverbolt.

The Maximal Elders were concerned about rising strife threatening to drag the Maximal Imperium into a new civil war. They sent their aide Ikard to bring them Big Convoy. He refused to come, citing the importance of getting some control in the field, but sent Ikard back to let them know that Angolmois Energy lay at the heart of the problem. The Ascending #2
