- The Destrons are a faction of Predacons from the IDW version of the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Destrons were formed as a reaction against the attempt to unify all Transformers under the Cybertron name. They are made up of Predacons and follow Galvatron, the self-proclaimed Destron Emperor of Destruction, who used his power to take the Destrons to Gaea in search for Angolmois Energy. They weren't successful.[1]
