- At the Project: Ice Man facility in Brasnya, Garrison Kreiger conducts an experiment of having Mike "Atomic Man" Power touch the Talisman. This triggers a surge of energy which materializes the Axalon and Sgt. Savage, who had previously vanished from that location in 1944. A moment later, Adventure Force arrives to shut down Kreiger's experiments. Detecting no heartbeat from Power, Adventure Force comes to the mistaken conclusion that Kreiger has killed Power.
