As Bumblebee and Cheetor reach the Well of the Allspark, Megatron makes one final power play.

Synopsis

In the jungles beneath Cybertron's surface, Cheetor searches for Bumblebee. He finds the scout tied up by a diminutive group of mechanical lifeforms who feast on energon, led by a bot calling himself Repugnus. Leaping into action, Cheetor tells Repugnus the AllSpark has returned, and can sate their hunger. The artifact does so, and in response, Cheetor asks if Repugnus can lead the two Autobots to the Well of the AllSpark. The little bot agrees, and leads Cheetor away. This leaves Bumblebee momentarily still tied up, until he manages to transform and break loose.

Meanwhile in the Threshold on the surface, Windblade and Bludgeon continue their sword fight as Wheeljack enters to find the damaged Teletraan-X lying on the floor. Telling the drone to take it easy, Wheeljack prepares to deal with Vector Sigma. As Windblade continues to hold off Bludgeon, Wheeljack removes a spray can and coats the supercomputer in a mysterious substance. In remembrance of Slipstream, Windblade overpowers Bludgeon and kicks him into the substance, which promptly vanishes in a flash of light. A confused Windblade enquires as to what exactly they just did. Wheeljack brings up their time in unspace and how he figured it would be a neat idea to bottle it up and weaponize it. Therefore, Vector Sigma and Bludgeon are now trapped between universes, forever out of Megatron's reach. Windblade cheerfully gives Optimus Prime the good news.

Down below, Repugnus and his tribe show Cheetor and Bumblebee to a doorway which will lead them to the Well of the AllSpark. Inside, the two quickly fall down a crevice, while leads to a slide that the two then fall off of. When they come to, they find they have managed to reach their destination. Bumblebee is in awe, not having set foot in the Well since his birth.

Unfortunately, the moment is interrupted by the arrival of Shockwave, who declares it appropriate his life will end in the place it began and several of his drones swarm into the room. As the AllSpark guardian charges at the Decepticon scientist, Cheetor is quickly subdued and at Shockwave's mercy. Bumblebee grabs Cheetor's fallen spear, and rams it down Shockwave's gun barrel just as he is about to fire. The resulting backlash hurls Shockwave across the room, knocking him out. With the problem momentarily solved, Bumblebee tells Cheetor it is time to finish things. They return the AllSpark to the Well and life begins to return to Cybertron.

Back at Iacon City, the Autobots are mopping up the last of the giant Shockwave drones. Optimus lectures Megatron he has failed, that no Decepticon has gotten in the way of his telling. With Vector Sigma gone, Megatron will be unable to prevent the creation of a world where all can live as equals. Megatron does not see the value in such life and declares that if he cannot have the AllSpark... then no-one can. With that said, he orders Shockwave to destroy the AllSpark.

Down in the Well, Shockwave stirs and progresses over to a discarded device to complete his final mission. As Bumblebee and Cheetor watch, the cycloptic scientist approaches the AllSpark and tells Cheetor he has failed. With that, he activates the device, which extracts Shockwave's spark and shoots it into the AllSpark. Cheetor notes in horror that Shockwave's spark, which has been steeped in evil, will corrupt and destroy the artifact.

An aura of corruption spreads forth from the Well, reaching all the way to the surface of Cybertron, where a horrified Optimus asks what Megatron has done. Megatron merely responds that he has done the impossible: he has killed the AllSpark.

Cheetor declares he must stop what the Decepticons have done and grabs Shockwave's spark extractor, affixing it to his chest. Telling Bumblebee that it is time to fulfil his destiny, he thanks the Autobot for being his friend. With that, Cheetor activates the spark extractor, sending his spark back to where it came from. After a short fight, Shockwave's corruption is undone and the AllSpark is restored. As Cybertron bursts back to life, Cheetor's voice assures Bumblebee that wherever he goes, Cheetor will be with him in spirit.

As the Autobots watch as their homeworld shines again, Megatron refuses to give up and continues attacking. Optimus sends him flying into the Threshold's corridor, where Megatron is ultimately devoured by the hungry Scraplets. An aghast Shadow Striker draws her gun on Optimus, but he wordlessly convinces her to lower it. Turning to the crowd of Autobots and Decepticons, Optimus announces the war is over and Cybertron is reborn, to which both sides cheer.

As the planet restores itself, Optimus states that all things transform, and it is up to all of them to make sure it transforms for the better.
