2005 IDW continuity

After being rejected by the major Hollywood movie studios, Richard Ruby managed to sell the rights to Starscream: The Movie to Coma for viewing by Earth audiences. The movie's writer/director/star Thundercracker was fairly depressed by this, as he couldn't even figure out HOW to subscribe to Coma. Fortunately, famed director J.J. Hackensack saw Starscream: The Movie on Coma and contacted Thundercracker, interested in a creative collaboration between the two. Starscream: The Movie
