When Bumblebee went against Lockdown in single combat and got his diodes kicked, JD Red Knight rolled out from his Hasbro toy factory headquarters(?!) with Optimus Prime, a squadron of airborne drones, and a trailer containing a mysterious purple energy source after receiving the news via drone transmission. Arriving in the battlefield in truck mode, Red Knight deployed Joy and loaded the energy source onto him before sending the canine minion to assist Bumblebee and transforming to robot mode to destroy some enemy drones. Meanwhile, Joy successfully delivered his payload to Bumblebee, who absorbed it and used its power to unleash a pulse wave that blew Lockdown off his feet.
