Ironclad is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family.
You can't see me!

This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.

Ironclad is an Autobot engineer with a talent for body modifications, skilled enough to earn him a place on the Wreckers. In combat, he fights defensively, making use of his impressively large fist.

He transforms into an armored personnel carrier, and is mustard tan and gray in color, with a red faceplate and a "crown" on his helmet.

Fiction

TransTech

Ironclad was a boxer on Axiom Nexus. He once matched against Star Upper, a bout that Ironclad lost despite his ironclad (ah-heh) defense and massive fist. Andromeda - Axiom Nexus News, 2015/05/04

Of Masters and Mayhem

Ironclad was an architectural and engineering genius who worked with the Wreckers for a time. His work even impressed the Technobots when he recommended an upgrade to their combining process. With body modifications all around, Ironclad would have joined the Technobots and linked with a more energy-efficient Afterburner to create a new arm. His design was ultimately rejected, but the idea was used to incorporate Scrounge and Cybaxx instead, adding the full knowledge of the Underbase to Computron's databanks.

Later, after the razing of Cybertron by Thunder Mayhem, Impactor retained his late comrade's design schematics. He used this information to upgrade himself and Bluestreak with combiner remodels intended for Ironclad and Lightspeed, and incorporate them into the new Wreckage combiner. Lively Pursuit
