The mysterious Silver Matrix (シルバーマトリクス Shirubā Matorikusu) is perhaps the most powerful artifact in the universe of the Primus Vanguard. Possessed of the unique ability to absorb the Star Power of the other matrices of the Seven Lights, it was bestowed by Primus himself on the extradimensional warrior Star Convoy.
Analysis by leading experts indicates whosoever can manage to fill it completely could destroy the universe itself and harness the life force of the world to follow.

The Vok of the next universe set loose a Novaroid swarm on the Blue Planet as part of their efforts to alter the timeline. Super Megatron comic 3 In response, Primus plucked Optimus Prime and Galvatron from 2011 of the G1 World into orbit, gifted Optimus the mysterious Silver Matrix and tasked them with sorting the problem. Optimus absorbed the Star Power to upgrade himself into Star Convoy and made short work of the Novaroids by combining the Silver Matrix with his ion blaster to create the Big Bang Cannon. Star Convoy comic Primus then cryptically directed him to collect "Star Power" in the Silver Matrix to save 'their collective future". Seacons comic 2
The two were subsequently intercepted by the photon sailer of the twin Seacons, and Star Convoy got the stuffing beaten out of him by an Angolmois-juiced King Poseidon seeking to claim the Silver Matrix for his own all the way down to the surface. Seacons comic 5
Just as it looked like curtains for Star Convoy, King Poseidon was exploded by none other than an upgraded Super Megatron, fresh from crashing the pirates' ship as soon as he extorted an upgrade. Super Megatron comic 1 Super Megatron greeted his old enemy with his own demand for the Silver Matrix that he could gain yet further power. Star naturally declined and a well choreographed scuffle ensued until they reached a nearby city and Megatron threatened to eat (yes, eat) a pair of Beast People. An ashen Star Convoy complied and Super Megatron bonded with the Silver Matrix to become Ultra Megatron!!! Super Megatron comic 2
Just as it looked like curtains for Optimus (again), he was rescued from Ultra Megatron's ultra attack by none other than Blue Big Convoy as the Blue Order rendezvoused with their guests. Blue healed Optimus's wounds as his troops kept Megatron occupied. Just as things were looking up, Blue made the no good very bad decision to parry Ultra Megatron's Silver Matrix attack with his own α Matrix, allowing the Silver Matrix to absorb its Blue Star Power and evolve Megatron even further into Ultra Megatron Omega! Super Megatron comic 3
Just as it looked like curtains for Optimus and the Blue Order (yet again), Ultra Megatron Omega was repelled by a blast from Primus as he received his guests in person at last. As his Vanguard prostrated themselves, the god explained to Optimus that this universe was the one that existed before his native one—the destruction of this universe ensured the birth of the next. Megatron Omega attempted an attack while Optimus was distracted by exposition, but was foiled by a revived King Poseidon, newly committed to avenging his fallen crewmates. Seeing that fighting was unavoidable, Optimus powered up to Star Convoy once more.Super Megatron comic 4 With the theft of the Blue Matrix, Primus alerted the other colored Orders of the Primus Vanguard to defend their respective Matrices from Megatron Omega, for if he retrieved all seven, all was lost for this universe.
Abruptly, the Blue Order was torn asunder, its members driven to attack each other by the program secretly implanted into them by one of the group's Straxuses. Blue realized the betrayal, and the other Straxus—Director Straxus—mocked him and exclaimed that the previous commander, Brightes, shouldn't have passed him over for Supreme Commander in favor of Blue. Refusing to harm his comrades, Blue fell on his own Matrix Sword, but the amused Straxus simply retrieved the blade and offered his services to Megatron Omega. Megatron departed the Blue Planet in search of more matrices with the Straxuses in tow. Primus explained to Star Convoy that, while the members of the Blue Order had perished, their sparks would be stored in his Ark and pass on to the next incarnation of the universe, and casually dropped this ritual sacrifice is why he led Galvatron to this dimension and the Silver Matrix in the first place. Turtler alerted Star Convoy to a more immediate mystery: the absence of Halfshell from the crashed photon sailer! God Neptune comic 1
The Seacons attacked on the various planets of the Primus Vanguard's colored Orders. There weren't enough Seacons to go around, though, and the Purple Planet stayed uninvaded. They still had visitors in the form of the Straxuses and Ultra Megatron Omega, so Purple Wicked Convoy proposed that they combine the power of the Purple, Blue, and Silver Matrices to defeat all of their enemies and take over the universe.God Neptune comic 2
Having gathered five of the Primus Vanguard's Matrices, God Neptune set out to use their power to take the Purple Matrix and the Silver Matrix (carrying the blue Star Power of the α Matrix beside its own) from Megatron Omega and Purple Wicked Convoy. Megatron attempted to blast the Seacon combiner, but God Neptune was unfazed. Straxus took a swipe with the Matrix Sword, but was disarmed by God Neptune retaliating with the Matrix Saber. The Matrix Sword wasn't without surprises, and Blue's spirit emanated from it, revealing that he put a portion of his spark into the sword when he committed suicide. Blue linked to the Matrix Buster to give God Neptune a good blast, and Yellow, Green, and Black arrived to restrain God Neptune. White lept into action in his "White Convoy Grand Prime" mode, but the entire endeavor ended in White being bisected by God Neptune's Neptune Sword. Grabbing the opportunity, Megatron Omega converted into a new mode that combined with Purple's trailer and ruthlessly shot the combiner with Angolmois Energy, breaking him apart. God Neptune comic 3 Megatron Omega attempted to absorb the Star Power of the five Matrices God Neptune brought into the Silver Matrix, but he found his head smashed in with the Neptune Sword. Halfshell took the Star Power for himself, reforming God Neptune and cleaving Megatron in half.
