| The name or term "Maverick" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Maverick (disambiguation). |
- Maverick is a Unicron-allied Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Maverick is a member of the Aerial Extermination Mini-Con Team, and a personal attendant to Nemesis Prime. Staunchly loyal to Unicron's goals, this assassin strikes silently and unseen, like a ninja in the night. Unfortunately, while he absolutely despises his teammates, he can't do anything to them, so he suffers in solitary silence.[1]

- Air Assault Micron (Mini-Con pack, 2003)
- Japanese ID number: MM-17
- Maverick/Shade is a redeco of the Air Defense Mini-Con Team member Sonar, transforming into a VentureStar concept shuttle. He also forms the hilt to the Vorpal Saber|Dark Saber sword, which can be held by any other Transformer that has 5mm fist-holes. This toy is largely identical to the Hasbro "Air Assault" version of Sonar, but uses transparent plastic with a hint of purple instead of the Hasbro version's opaque off-white. He came with his partners Jackknife/Jack and Skull Buster/Mad.
