* The planet was first named (in Cybertronian writing) as "Biosfera" as part of a map on the back of the 2016 Titans Return Titan Force 3-pack. By the time of Earthrise, the spelling had changed to "Biosphera". As both names evoke the word "biosphere", and the world is populated with animal-mode Transformers, Biosphera appears to be an alternate take on the "Beast Planet" archetype previously seen with planets such as Animatron (the only Cybertronian colony from Transformers: Cybertron otherwise absent from said map) and Eukaris (absent from the map, but already seen in Titans Return marketing material).

* "Biosphera" appeared as a hidden item to be decoded on a map fragment packaged with the 2020 Earthrise Voyager Class Snapdragon figure. It is a circular, probably spherical object, similar to objects on the map that are known to be planets. Markings on the map seem to depict things in orbit around it, and multiple "hidden paths" through or near it.
* The collectible map piece included with Earthrise Voyager Class Snapdragon spells the planet's name as "Biosphera". This is the only time this spelling is used, as the map included with the concurrently-released Galactic Odyssey Collection toys uses the original spelling.

Biosfera (also spelled Biosphera) is a planet covered to some extent in jungle. Early Transformers refugees settled there and adopted beast alternate forms to better fit the environment. Their descendants eventually became distrusting of robots with vehicle alternate modes.
