Believing that the Autobots were going to court martial him for his part in the disastrous Rivers' Town ambush and a subsequent engagement with human military troops, the Autobot Backstreet took shelter in the old cinema. He was discovered by the night watchman Don Stracher, who ran away and reported the incident to his superiors, inadvertently alerting the nearby Decepticon Spinister to Backstreet's location.
