After the disaster at the Rivers' Town ambush and a subsequent engagement with human military troops, the Autobot Backstreet took shelter in the old Cyclorama 3-D cinema at the Riverway Fun Park until he was discovered by the night watchman Don Stracher, who inadvertently alerted the Decepticon Spinister to Backstreet's location. Spinister and his ally Scoop attacked Backstreet at the fun park before they were interrupted by Megatron, backed up by the rest of his forces, who chastised Spinister and Scoop, instead extending an offer to join the Decepticons to the renegade Triggerbot. As Backstreet mulled over his proposition, Optimus Prime arrived to reclaim his wayward soldier and the two faction leaders clashed, destroying the park's shooting gallery, ferris wheel, and dodgems shed in the process. Just at the point when Megatron got the better of his opponent and prepared to execute Prime with his fusion cannon, he was struck by Backstreet's proton missile cannons as the two Autobots rallied, with Optimus transforming into battle station mode and sending the rest of the Decepticons packing with an assortment of laser, particle beam cannon, and concussion blaster fire. With the enemy suppressed, the two Autobots evacuated the Riverway Fun Park and returned to their base. Trigger-Happy!
