Utah is one of the United States of America, nestled within the Rocky Mountains. It includes the cities of Wendover, Beaver, and its capital Salt Lake City.

In at least one universe, it is also home to G.I. Joe.

Memories gleaned from Ravage led to Soundwave sending Buzzsaw and Strike Team Ursa to a location in Wendover, Utah. Once they broke in, it quickly became clear that the dilapidated structure concealed a hi-tech base, however the base's security system triggered its self-destruct, and the four Decepticons only just got away in time. The mysterious owners of the base made sure that NEST got wind of the Decepticon activities, and Strike Team Ursa was intercepted by the Autobots. The battle ended with Soundwave's capture at the hands of Optimus Prime. Nefarious #2 A team led by Bumblebee remained in Utah guarding Soundwave, until Optimus and Ironhide had begun preparing a facility in Odessa, Texas to hold him. Then they loaded the Decepticon onto a plane. Which was shot down by Buzzsaw en route. Nefarious #3
