With the top of the crystal satellite serving as a lens for the Sun's rays, Megatron wanted to melt the Rocky Mountains to obtain the oil held within. He succeeded in the first part, creating a growing sea of oil and lava that threatened Los Angeles and the rest of the West Coast. However, he never got the oil because the Autobots destroyed the satellite before more damage could be done with it. Satellite of Doom

Fifteen years ago, Leftfoot took his family with him from England to British Columbia, Canada. He obtained a cabin in the shade of the Rocky Mountains so he could easily obtain the raw materials he needed to built a prototype car. The car went on to be a huge financial success and the start of British Motors, the head office of which would be built on the grounds of the cabin. When Leftfoot's son, Lightfoot, reached the age of 17, he was gifted the original prototype and started having quaint dreams for which he contacted Ginrai. Ginrai came to the head office and discovered that the prototype was another transtector and Lightfoot another Godmaster and he had just enough time to give him basic instructions before the Decepticons attacked and they had to fight them off together. Lightfoot: A Dramatic Encounter While discussing where to look for the remaining unidentified Godmasters, Lightfoot and Ginrai proposed for the Autobots to keep looking in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The proposal was accepted and they, Metalhawk, Lander, and the Headmaster Juniors made the investigation a camping trip. While the adults examined the abandoned mine Leftfoot had once gotten his ore from, Minerva went picking mushrooms, and Shūta and Cab went fishing, the Decepticons too came looking for Godmasters. Hydra and Buster scanned the mountains from up in the sky while the Headmaster Juniors got to search on ground level, although they ditched their task to go hunting instead. At the mine, Metalhawk's group met the Mountie Ranger, who after parting ways went home to his log cabin in the woods. There, Bullhorn came knocking to ask for directions and when Ranger went fishing in preparation of dinner, he met the Autobot Headmaster Juniors too and gave them some of his bait so they'd finally land a fish. When the wind picked up that night, both the Autobots and the Decepticons ended up going to Ranger's cabin to look for shelter, but the Autobots got their first so the Decepticons stayed back. Through their talks, the Autobots learned that Ranger was another Godmaster and recruited him just before the Decepticons attacked and trashed the cabin. Ranger fought alongside the Autobots and sent the Decepticons packing. An Enemy? The Third Godmaster, Ranger

As the Decepticons were rather sore losers, they took nearly everyone at the British Motors head office prisoner to force Lightfoot to either switch sides or hand over his Master-Braces. The Autobots ensured that they got nothing for their trouble and that no lives were lost that day. Life? Death? The Desperate Lightfoot Ginrai returned to the Rocky Mountains for some intense training. In the middle of it, he noticed that his transtector was being stolen. He pursued the truck and managed to catch up, only to discover that the Headmaster Juniors were at the wheel as they had tried to do a little training with his transtector themselves. Appearance!! The Hansen and Jiménez families were picnicking in the Rockies when Coby, Bud and Lori came across the injured Landmine. After helping repair him, they came under attack by Thundercracker, who started a forest fire, but were saved by the timely intervention of the Autobots. Fallen Inferno The Autobots later constructed their base in an isolated area of the Rockies, away from the risk of prying human eyes. Haven Later, after constructing the Cobybot, Coby began using a technique he named the "Rocky Mountain Fastball". City
