Spectrosynth drones are physical duplicates of Termagax, created by her to serve as avatars or decoys in the outside world. A single drone is utterly convincing as the real Termagax when she puppeteers it directly through use of a command cradle located in House. She can deploy multiple drones at once, but can only exert fine control over one at a time, with the rest functioning on more basic commands and protocols.

After the fall of the Tether, Termagax had House manufacture a spectrosynth drone and sent it to speak with her former pupil Megatron at Decepticon HQ. She denounced Megatron and the Decepticon movement through it and Megatron responded by destroying the drone, thinking it was the real her.
