Lift-Ticket is Cline's mech, part of the Diaclone project begun to combat the Waruder invaders. It is primarily equipped for rescue and repair. Its tow-truck mode serves it well for this purpose. In humanoid mode, the mechanisms in its arms enable the mech to lift twice as much as it can tow. The mech's on-board AI is not patterned after Cline's personality, as it is with the duo's companions Dia and Burn Out; where Cline is methodical and sometimes intensely focused, Lift-Ticket is cautious and alert. The AI's wariness has saved Cline many times from the Waruders' clutches.
Lift-Ticket is a salvage and mechanical repair specialist, appropriately equipped for rescue and repair operations with a tow cable that can pull several tons over vast distances, while his arms contain powerful servos and hydraulics that can lift twice as much. Highly alert and ever on-guard, Lift-Ticket's wariness helps to make up for the intense focus of his partner, the Diaclone project engineer Cline; more than once, Lift-Ticket has had to pull Cline's attention away from his repairs in order to evade a foe's attack.

In some realities, Lift-Ticket is a fully-sparked Cybertronian. Probably. We don't know much of anything about that iteration of him, though.

Autobots, transform and roll out!

It has been suggested this article should be moved to Lift-Ticket (Timelines).
If you agree or disagree, please discuss why on its talk page.

Reason: That's the franchise of origin RE: TF.

This article is about the Diaclone mecha/Autobot. For the G.I. Joe pilot, see Lift-Ticket (G.I. Joe).
Lift-Ticket is a Diaclone vehicle/mecha from the Diaclone continuity family (via Timelines).
"Pay no attention to the man behind the windshield!"

Lift-Ticket was a rescue and repair mech created as part of the Diaclone project and assigned to Cline, an accomplished mechanic who was nominated to the project's team of pilots in order to perform repairs and prevent breakdowns in the field. Unlike the duo of Burn Out and Dia, Lift-Ticket's artificial intelligence was not based on Cline's personality, instead being given a cautious and wary personality to complement the methodical and detail-oriented Cline. The text on his doors doesn't signify that he's a Wrecker, only that he is a "Wrecker Type."
  • Lift-Ticket (Souvenir set, 2015)
    • Accessories: Towing hook/blaster
Timelines Lift-Ticket is a redeco of Generations Thrilling 30 Deluxe Class Hoist, itself a retool of Generations Trailcutter. Lift-Ticket transforms into an off-road truck, and comes with a towing hook that can transform into a blaster and peg via 5 mm post onto any of his numerous ports. This figure was available only in an at-show "Diaclone 2-pack" souvenir set with Burn Out at BotCon 2015.
In terms of assembly error, at least a small number of units have his towing hook assembled backwards. This seems most common in ones bought from the Transformers Collector's Club's web shop sales.
The original tooling of this toy also served as the basis of the non-toy characters Generation 1 Flatline, Wings Universe Turbofire, and Shattered Glass Trailbreaker and Lockdown.

Generations Selects

Oh no! They chugged Iron Man!
  • Lift-Ticket (Deluxe Class, 2022)
    • Series: Legacy
    • TakaraTomy release date: June 25, 2022
    • Accessories: Arm cannon
Generations Selects Lift-Ticket is a redeco of Earthrise Hoist, and an add-on to the Legacy toyline. Much like the BotCon Timelines toy above, Selects Lift-Ticket is based on the red version of the Diaclone "No. 8 4WD Wrecker Type" toy that was imported by Hasbro and redecoed for Hoist's original Generation 1 toy. As a nod to the Diaclone toy, Lift-Ticket features the word "WRECKER" tampographed in bold on either side of his vehicle mode.
Being a redeco of Hoist, Lift-Ticket's tow truck apparatus is compatible with the A.I.R. Lock System and can be connected to any of the figures from the War for Cybertron Trilogy lines that also feature this system.
Though scheduled for 2022 release, the first copies reached fans in 2021 just before New Year's Day. In Japan, Lift-Ticket was released as a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive. Lift-Ticket was also the first toy to be released with the Legacy logo on the packaging.
This mold was also retooled to make Earthrise Trailbreaker and Legacy DK-3 Breaker.

Notes

No Parking means No Parking!
  • Lift-Ticket is based on 4WD Hi-Lux Wrecker Type (4WD (ダブルディー)ハイラックスレッカータイプ), the Diaclone mecha whose toy mold was used to create Generation 1 Hoist. It goes unstated whether Lift-Ticket's home reality has multiple or only one Wrecker Type mecha.
  • Lift-Ticket's name is taken from a G.I. Joe character, as Fun Publications also held the G.I. Joe Club license at the time.
  • Salvage was a preliminary name for the character in homage to the the similarly colored Autobot from the 2007 movie toyline,[1][2] and that name could still be found on BotCon Lift-Ticket's individual polybag.
  • Legacy/Generations Selects Lift-Ticket has absolutely no bio information whatsoever. The notion that he's a Cybertronian with a spark is an assumption based pretty much entirely on him having an Autobot insignia emblazoned on his hood.

Foreign names

  • Japanese: Lift-Ticket (リフトチケット Rifuto Chiketto)
