- Shadow is an Decepticon-aligned AI from the Japanese portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

This character or person needs some sort of visual representation. If you have one, please replace this.
A creation of Doctor Fujiyama, Shadow (シャドウ Shadō) is a chatty AI contained within a storage box usually attached to the thigh of his "big sister", Nightbird. Like his sibling, Shadow is skilled in ninjutsu and has his own unique functions, such as a cerebro-shell program.

Train Wars
Circa 2010, Shadow, having remained hidden thanks to invisibility ninjutsu, broke out Nightbird from stasis and led her to upgrade her body using their creator's lab. He soon encouraged her to steal away three of their siblings—inactivated Trainbots. However, they were caught by the nine other Trainbots, six of whom combined into G Liner. Using Shadow's cerebro-shell program, Nightbird was able to take control of the combiner, but the evil duo's efforts were foiled by the three remaining Trainbots. The two were taken captive, but the ninja robot managed to escape using her ninja tricks. The Train Wars: The Origin

Notes
- Shadow speaks Japanese in a very strange diction, notably using asshi (アッシ), an archaic personal pronoun with "working man" implications, and frequently using the humble anego (姉御, "elder sister") to refer to Nightbird.
