Security Operations

Security Operations is the primary law enforcement organization of Cybertron, operational in various city-states and on the colonies. Overseen by Senator Orion Pax and headed by Chromia, they are responsible for keeping the peace.

Cybertron Security Operations was previously run by Streetwise. He eventually retired and assumed control of the academy, training new recruits. The Change In Your Nature Part Two War World: Prime Streetwise was replaced by Chromia as head of SecOps. Some believe the position might have gone to the highly effective investigator Prowl, were it not for the consequences of his personality. The World In Your Eyes Part Two

Sentinel Prime was furious over the loss of order on Cybertron due to the Rise, and decreed that Colonial Security officers would supercede Security Operations' authority in the hunt for the terrorists. The Change In Your Nature Part Three

After the Decepticon coup, a significant number of Security Operations personnel remained loyal to Chromia and the deposed lawful government. War World: Prime

A parallel SecOps unit operated on the Velocitron colony (and presumably all colonies). Velocitron Security Operations was run by Breakdown, and provided security during the Speedia 500 race. However, many SecOps officers were secretly working with the underground dissident group, Mayhem, using Pretender technology to disguise their identities. Their assault on the Speedia 500 allowed Breakdown's partner Knock Out to claim the spot of First Senator for the Ascenticon party. With Knock-Out controlling the Senate and Breakdown controlling Security Operations, they used martial law to orchestrate a coup on behalf of the group who became the Decepticons.
