- I don't think he was. Springer seemingly has no idea who he is when they meet in Survivors. ("Catilla kept up surveillance while Snarler and I -" "Snarler? Who's Snarler?") -LV 18:32, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- It wasn't explicitly stated, but I can't think of anywhere else he could have come from. The Mayhems land on Earth, they get skragged, abandoned by their superiors, and suddenly Snarler is present at the side of the two surviving members. He references the Mayhems' orders from Cybertron to have killed all Wreckers after the Time Wars. Also, US #51 established the principle of one Mayhem staying completely behind the scenes during a mission (Catilla). The explanation that makes the most sense is that Snarler was a seventh Mayhem who did not present himself to the Wreckers during the Time Wars, remaining unseen in reserve as a failsafe. Either that, or we have to assume a lone Decepticon appeared completely out of the blue after Time Wars and joined the remaining Mayhems in exile. --Xaaron 04:57, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
