This comic is set firmly in the G1 cartoon continuity, serving as a link between Season 2 and the Movie (though not much of one), but how would I insert this fiction into the animated continuity sections of G1 characters that had appeared in the cartoon before (fictional) 2001, such as Soundwave; or those, like Kup, who actually had backstory some thousands of years ago, but did not appear in fiction until The Movie (2005)? Either break his animated continuity section up into sections. 'History,' 'prior to the movie' 'post-movie,' or inset an italicized note that the events of the preceding/following paragraph were not from the animated series, but a fill-in-the-gap comic. | |||
