The Transformers: Rise of the Beasts toyline coincides with the seventh film in the live-action film series. The toyline follows the now-tradional two-pronged strategy laid out by 2014's Age of Extinction toyline, with the majority of figures falling into two categories:

  • The "Beast Alliance" line, a series of simpler, more gimmick-focused toys aimed at younger children centered around equipping figures with animal companions that form weapons or armor.
  • Collector-focused figures in the familiar Core-to-Leader size class structure under the Studio Series umbrella imprint.

There are also assorted other gimmick toys that don't fit into these play patterns. Particularly notable is the "2-in-1" series, which puts role play toys front and center for the first time since the original 2007 toyline.
