The Giant Planet Mini-Con Team are a trio of Mini-Cons who have abandoned their duties, operating without the assistance of larger partners. Rather than work on construction sites, they prefer to just run around wrecking things. Be it on land, sea, or air, these three are real troublemakers.
The Giant Planet Mini-Con team consists of:
Toys
Cybertron

- Giant Planet Mini-Con Team (Scout-Class, 2006)
- Sold in the eighth wave of Cybertron Scout-class toys (the first wave to feature the Primus Unleashed branding), this Team was only available sold as a set of three. They use the Decepticon cardback style, even though they aren't explicitly Decepticon-allied, fictionally.
- This set was one of several Cybertron new-mold toys not sold in Japan. It didn't even get a "USA Edition" import-release.
- This mold set was used to make the Sabotage Team of Astro-Hook, Astro-Line, and Astro-Sinker (partner Mini-Cons to Timelines Astrotrain), the Special Operations Team of Airlift, Diveplane, and Reachout (from the 2010 Transformers Minicon 8 Pack), and partially to make Cradon and Seawave (exclusives to specially-capped cans of Boss Coffee in Japan, who interestingly lacked a gang-molded third teammate).
Classics
- Optimus Prime vs Megatron: The Ultimate Battle (Multi-pack, 2007)
- In 2007, Walmart stores carried an exclusive "Bonus Buy" version of the Classics "Ultimate Battle" Optimus Prime / Megatron multipack that had two random members of the Giant Planet Team attached to the top of the box. All the toys involved were unchanged from their original separate releases.
Notes
- The personalities given to them in Hasbro Transformers Collectors' Club issue 13 are those of The Brothers Strong from animated web series Homestar Runner. In particular, Deepdive takes from Strong Sad, Longarm from Strong Mad, and Overcast from Strong Bad.
