Ban Magami (まがみばん Magami Ban) is a Japanese manga artist, born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, in 1957. He was one of Leiji Matsumoto's assistants in his early career. His first work is Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers manga on TV Magazine. He also worked as a character designer for the Japanese G1 anime. He designed several character models for the Japanese G1 anime such as the new characters from The Headmaster, Minerva, God Ginrai, Star Saber, Victory Leo, Super Megatron and several others. He also works on the children's book such as "The secret of Tutankhamen" from Kodansha.
