Notes
[edit]
- Courtesy of penciller Don Figueroa, this 2002 comic character is a gray "virtual redeco" of the Diaclone Helicopter Type (ヘリコプタータイプ) Triple Changer toy that was never released as a Transformer. Rotorbolt and Skyklik are based on the same toy, but in the original blue deco.
- Despite never being released, a U.S. patent was filed for the toy on September 27, 1984... the same day as Blitzwing. Considering the toy's entire helicopter front (nearly half the figure) is made of metal, it likely ran into cost or safety concerns.
- Fumes did not have a name till 2015, when the Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime gave him one. He's named "Fumes" because he... hangs out with Exhaust, in case it wasn't clear. Yeah.
- The helicopter alt mode resembles a Boeing AH-64 Apache.
