  • February 13 to February 22 - The Transformers toyline debuts at New York Toy Fair
  • February 22 - Jeffrey Scott attends meeting with Hank Saroyan to develop a Transformers series for CBS Network.
  • February 25 - Initial Production bible for network pitch completed, while still awaiting Bob Budiansky character profiles.
  • February 28 - Conference call between Stephen Hassenfeld, Tom Griffin, Joe Bacal and Hank Saroyan to discuss Hasbro feedback to initial show bible
  • March 1 - CBS executives Judy Price, Ted Field II and Mike Cassutt provide revision feedback on development bible, Hank Saroyan relays notes to Hasbro on March 5
  • March 7 - Development bible revised with full character profiles and other reference supplied by Griffin-Bacal.
  • March 12 to March 14 - Jeffrey Scott develops outlines for A Robot's Best Friend Is His Dog - one of thirteen story springboards in the development bible.

Megatron leaves the band after a brawl pitting the rest of the band against him and the Vehicon roadies hired for the tour cancels the final show.
