Skybound Entertainment is a U.S. entertainment company headed up by Robert Kirkman and David Alpert, best known for The Walking Dead and Invincible brands. As an imprint of Image Comics, Skybound is the latest publisher of Transformers and G.I. Joe comics, beginning in 2023 with the launch of the shared Energon Universe continuity. The company also publishes other Transformers and G.I. Joe comics not tied to the Energon Universe, such as the continuation of the long-running G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero comic.
