A gyro gun (or gyro-gun) is a type of blaster, used by Swindles of various universes. It is not as large as his scatter blaster, but it DOES allow him to disrupt the balance center of any Transformer, destabilizing their equilibrium long enough for him to make a clean getaway. Snapdragon also carries a pair of gyro-guns which can discombobulate their targets by robbing them of their sense of balance.

Marvel The Transformers comics

[edit]

Swindle was armed with a gyro-gun that disturbed the balance centers of Transformers, severely hampering their ability to move around effectively. Swamp of the Scorpion

[edit]

While guarding the mighty fortress Scorponok, Snapdragon used his gyro-guns to ward off any trespassers. In one possible scenario, a well-placed blast caused Highbrow to fire his weapons wildly about before the Autobot collapsed to the ground. The effect lasted quite some time, leaving Highbrow unable to defend himself without your help. In one possible situation that followed, a shot fired from your laser cannon threw Snapdragon off-balance, causing him to hit Scorponok with his gyro-gun. The giant robot lost his balance, and fell onto Skullcruncher, taking him out of the fight. Swamp of the Scorpion

Dreamwave Generation One continuity

[edit]

In jet mode, Snapdragon was armed with gyro-guns that negated their targets' balance centers. Snapdragon's More than Meets the Eye profile In both modes, Swindle used a small gyro gun that disrupted its targets' balance. Swindle's More than Meets the Eye profile
