IDW Shattered Glass comic

Kup was a founding member of the Wreckers, an elite private security force under the command of Ultra Magnus that operated outside Cybertronian law. While stationed at the Senate building, Kup watched as his teammate Bumblebee intimidated Flashbox and Laserbeak into abandoning an interview with Shockwave. Ultra Magnus insisted that Shockwave was his friend, the arguments spiraled out of control, and when Kup criticized Magnus's handling of the situation, the Wrecker leader lost his cool and hurled Kup and Impactor into each other. To prove their loyalty to Optimus Prime, Kup and the other Wreckers later stormed the Senate building and massacred everyone inside, leaving only Shockwave alive so that he could be subjected to empurata. Shattered Glass II #1
After the end of the war, Kup and the other members of the Wreckers worked as bodyscrappers who hunted down Decepticon stragglers; during one skirmish in the Static Zone, Kup and a few other Wreckers were hunting for Sixshot when Blurr stole their kill. Shattered Glass #1
Some time later, following the Decepticon liberation of Kaon, Kup and the other Wreckers traveled to the city of Pax, where they watched as Ultra Magnus deposed Optimus Prime and seized command of his forces. Shattered Glass II #1
