Robo-deer are a variety of life-form found on Cybertron. They graze in herds and startle easily, causing their antlers to change color as their flight impulse is triggered.

A herd of robo-deer was grazing not too far from where a group of miners from Iacon were stranded after being thrown off a garbage train, briefly being startled when they overheard one of them screaming in frustration. The four miners later came upon a herd of the beasts, only for the robo-deer to flee towards a nearby ruin when a Quintesson ship caused the ground to shake as it arrived overhead. Cybertronian Robo-Deer are the most common "surface beast" life on Cybertron and, unlike most others, are able to digest organic matter. Other lifeforms on Cybertron consider Robo-Deer to be super-delicious, even tasting better than Energon. Transformers One Sourcebook

Notes
- While the robo-deer went unnamed in the film, the novelization refers to them as "unusual robo-deer creatures". The film's script refers to them variously as "robo-deer", "electro-deer", and plain "deer".
