The name or term "James" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see James (disambiguation).
Kamehameha!

Ian Corlett (sometimes credited as Ian James Corlett, born August 29, 1962) is a Canadian voice actor. Some of his better known roles include Coconuts from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Bob from Reboot seasons 3 and 4, Mega Man from the Ruby-Spears Mega Man series, and Skales and Master Chen from Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.

Although he reportedly hates dubbing anime[1], Corlett is well-known as the first English language voice of Son Goku/Kakarot in the Ocean group dub of Dragon Ball Z. Some of his other dub roles include Dr. Tofu in Ranma 1/2, Smooth Talker in Tenjho Tenge, and Miroku in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, succeeding the late Kirby Morrow. Corlett is also a credited animation writer, having written scripts for Donkey Kong Country, the English localization of Dragon Ball Z and is the creator of the series Being Ian & Yvon of the Yukon. Oh, and he's said that Adam Sandler once told him, "You've got the best job in showbiz."

He is the father of voice actors Claire Corlett & Philip Corlett.
