- Reed Richards is a character from the Marvel Comics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family. He is also known as Mr. Fantastic.

This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.
Reed Richards is the leader of the Fantastic Four, a group known to be operating on Earth in 1984. He probably is really smart.

Upon seeing the highly advanced technology possessed by the Autobots within their spaceship, the Ark, Spider-Man thought to himself that it would humble even the brilliant scientist Reed Richards, leader of the Fantastic Four. Prisoner of War!
Crossovers
"Mr. Fantastic" and Iron Man used alien technology to make giant robots for superheroes to ride in. For whatever reason, this includes the Hulk.
His counterpart, Doctor Doom, not content to let Richards have all the fun, made giant robots for supervillains.
