Steven Melching is an American writer. In addition to Beast Machines, he has also written for X-Men, Extreme Ghostbusters, Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot, The Mummy: The Animated Series, and The Batman.
He also co-wrote the seminal Star Wars fan-film TROOPS.
