- Corona is a Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Corona is one of many power-enhancing Mini-Cons scattered across Earth. A member of the Green Mini-Con Team, when Powerlinxed to a larger Transformer, Corona transforms into an energon-firing "ribbon beam" blaster similar to Aurora, but powerful enough to immobilize multiple targets if they are within close proximity to the primary target of the beam.

Corona's Mini-Con storage panel was discovered by the Autobots on Megatron's Pacific Island base, in the woods at the base of the volcano. Following the defeat of Megatron, he and the other Mini-Cons returned to Cybertron and helped form the Matrix Cannon, Nemesis Shield and Vanguard Booster, giving the Autobots the power needed to destroy Unicron.
