- Joe is an Autobot Micromaster from the Return of Convoy portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Joe (ジョー, jō) is a member of the Liner Team, six locomotive Micromasters who can combine to form Sixliner. The Liner Team fight alongside Star Convoy, Grandus and Sky Garry to protect the universe from the forces of the mighty Dark Nova.
In an alternate-timeline/universe, Joe is an information analysis specialist. He gathers all sorts of intelligence with his space-probe "Gripper", and his analysis of battles helps guide the way to future advantages. Joe has a friendly, open-hearted personality, and his skills at counseling have helped ease the troubles of many an Autobot warrior. He also has the power to manipulate either electro-magnetic or radio waves.

- Originally released in a giftset with his fellow Micromaster trains, Joe transforms into bullet train locomotive. His rear hitch allows him to connect end-to-end with his teammates D-Go, Night and Leaf. He forms the right leg of Sixliner.

- Joe and his teammates were re-released in Japan in 2002, this time sold in identical individual boxes. Joe was #x in the set, identifiable only by the number on his instruction sheet visible through a small hole in the box. Like the rest of the Micromaster Collection figures, Joe 's stickers were either replaced with tampographs or dropped entirely.
