The Autobots (Cybertrons usually, in Japanese shows and literature) are one of the primary factions in the Transformers mythos. They often find themselves defending against the Decepticons and upholding justice. They are considered "the good guys" in most Transformers stories.
A heroic, honorable group, they are comprised mostly of generic, domestic vehicles such as cars, trucks, or rescue vehicles(though this is not always the case).
