Kelly Baumgartner, along with her cameraman, Jimmy, was sent to the middle of nowhere by Channel 4. Her weather report predicting sunny weather was interrupted by a small boy squirting her with a water pistol. Despite her weather report, a heavy rainstorm began in. She and her cameraman headed for Steveson Dam and, on the way, spotted some kids swimming in the river. Kelly noticed what looked like small robots hiding in a crane truck, but Jimmy drove on. During the rainstorm she reported on the strain the weather was putting on the dam.

When the dam collapsed, causing a mudslide, she had Jimmy roll footage on an attempt to rescue the buried kids before the dam's floodgates were opened, flooding the river. A warning siren caused Jimmy to flee, but Kelly took his camera and fearlessly continued taping. Shortly before the dam floodgates were opened, she was knocked over by a weird flying thing. With the situation becoming critical, to Kelly's surprise the vehicles engaged in the rescue changed into huge robots and she was able to film them escaping the flood waters. Back in the news trailer, the footage was revealed to be shot with a muddy camera lens. It was the story of a lifetime. Vacation

Later, she and her cameraman reported on an incoming comet. She yelled at Jimmy to roll footage on destruction of the comet. It was the story of a lifetime.
