Overair commands the Airport Base, one of several defensive structures on Planet Zone.

Upon the creation of the Zone Base, Overair was put in charge of the Airport Base. Zone Part 4 However, when the Nine Great Demon Generals attacked, Zone Base was unable to prevent them from stealing the Energon Z. Zone (manga) Enter the New Supreme Commander, Dai Atlas!
Later, when Violen Jiger kidnapped Galaxy Rocket and fled to the Tenth Planet, all the Micromasters (which would presumably include Overair, even though he wasn't visible at the time) promised to keep Zone safe while Dai Atlas and the Powered Masters pursued the villain. Zone Part 10

- Airport Base (Micro Base, 1990)
- Accessories: 2 missiles, ramp
- Overair is identical to the Hasbro Decepticon Airwave, transforming into a Grumman F-14D Tomcat fighter jet. He was only available with the Airport Base set.
- This mold was also used to make the Decepticon Nightflight, and Overair's fellow Zone Autobot Nightflight.
