McClaren Robotics is an American defense contractor which took the blame for the garbled reports of giant robots seen during the Mission City incident.
It is unclear if they are an actual defense contractor, or a dummy corporation set up by Sector Seven.

Trivia
- McClaren Robotics was originally intended to be named, and even play a role, in the film itself. An extensive casting call list leaked to the internet in April 2008 listed a "Massive Dynamics CEO" as one of the new characters.[1] ("Massive Dynamics" was another working name for the same company, which is also used in the novelization of the movie.) Ever since July 2008, the official website of actor Steve Tom is listing him as appearing in Revenge of the Fallen[2], even though he isn't actually listed in the film's credits. Back in July 2008, IMDB listed Tom as playing the role of McClaren Robotics' CEO[3], wheras Theiapolis Cinema listed him as the CEO of Massive Dynamics at the same time.[4]
