The following pages are designed to help new users of this Wiki to get acquainted with our guidelines and traditions. These pages should be taken into consideration when creating and editing entries, as they represent a loose consensus among the most active editors of MediaWiki. Please try to follow these guidelines unless you have a good reason not to. Note: One thing which differentiates this wiki from Wikipedia is that many of our articles contain humor, particularly in the captions for images. New editors often seem to think the humor should be removed when they first start contributing here. Not all jokes are vandalism. In fact, the overwhelming majority of them on this wiki aren't. There is no reason that a resource can't be both informative and amusing at the same time.
