- Rocketbot is an Autobot and a Targetmaster partner from the Henkei! Henkei! portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Rocketbot is Strafe's Targetmaster partner.
Toys
Gentei! Gentei!
- Strafe (Deluxe, 2009)
- Japanese ID number: D-07
- Rocketbot is a redeco of the 2008 Universe Nightstick mold, transforming into a hand-held blaster cannon with a mostly orange upper body and gold chrome legs and primary gun barrel. In gun mode, he can also plug into the rectangular sockets in Strafe's wrists when his (Strafe's) fists are left in their vehicle-mode storage positions. He was only available with the Gentei! Gentei! version of Strafe, which was an exclusive for members of the Transformers Basecamp web site in Japan, which is itself exclusive to those who own a Transformers-themed Visa credit card. The ordering period for Strafe and Rocketbot ran from March 2nd through April 30th in 2009.
Trivia
- Rocketbot is apparently named after the Italian name of Generation 1 Strafe.
