It's always nice to see an interview, but what's the actual RELEVANCE here? The interviewer cocked up and Shin's poor grasp of English meant he didn't correct him. Not exaclty wiki-worthy!

In an interview with CNN Talk Asia Shin gave in 2007, the interviewer seems to incorrectly imply that Shin ''created'' the Transformers series from scratch. Nelson Shin (申奈舜, b. 1939) is a South Korean animator and animation director. He was the producer of the original Transformers cartoon and the director of The Transformers: The Movie, and is the founder and owner of the Korean animation studio AKOM. It might not be a coincidence that animation duties of the cartoon were shifted more and more from Toei to AKOM as the series progressed.

More recently, he recorded a DVD commentary for the movie alongside Susan Blu and Flint Dille.
