I'd like to suggest creating :Category:Hasbro franchises and :Categor:Takara franchises to separate the franchises. --<span style= "color:#00FA9A">TX55</span><small><span style= "color:#0000CD">TALK</span></small> 06:38, 16 October 2009 (EDT)

I am not totally satisfied with the word "franchise" as I've used it here and in the continuities article, but I'm at a loss for anything better. I am open to suggestions if somebody has a better word. Whatever word we pick, I think it would help if all editors used it consistently.

Category suggestion

I'd like to suggest creating "Category:Hasbro franchises" and "Category:Takara franchises" to separate the franchises. --TX55TALK 06:38, 16 October 2009 (EDT)

Categorizing

IIRC, shouldn't NAME (franchise) be always on the top of its category? Take Victory for example, It should be look like:

Victory (franchise)
*
Victory (cartoon)
Victory (manga)
Victory (toyline)

which is

Victory (franchise) -
Victory (cartoon) -
Victory (manga) -
Victory (toyline) -

Also, "Victory (franchise)" is already under Category:Victory, which is under Category:Franchises, why bother put "Victory (franchise)" under Category:Franchises, the repeat category?
