Daisuke Gōri (郷里大輔 Gōri Daisuke, real name: 長堀芳夫 Nagahori Yoshio) was a Japanese voice actor. He was born on February 8, 1952 in Tokyo, Japan. He was employed by the talent agency Aoni Production. He died after committing suicide on January 17, 2010, at the age of 57.[1]
He usually played big dumb lugs, like his role as Mr. Satan (aka Hercule) in Dragon Ball Z or Heihachi Mishima from the Tekken series. Some other roles include Lord Zedd from the Japanese dub of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, Sloth from the Japanese dub of The Goonies, Robin Mask from Kinnikuman/Ultimate M.U.S.C.L.E., Cobra Bubbles from the Japanese dub of Lilo & Stitch and Yosemite Sam from the Japanese dub of Looney Tunes.
